Meet Visit Jax Insider: Amy Kennelly
I love how large and diverse Jacksonville is. This city holds a lot of history and is constantly evolving.
Hello! I'm Hana (pronounced Henna). I am the person you would see attending a local event, charity, festival, music venue, art show...the list goes on.
As an event planner, you'll probably see me out there organizing some of these really cool events, too. I am really big on supporting arts, culture, diversity and all of our friends here in Jacksonville and what better way to do that than to share the love on what they've been working so hard on. There's never a dull moment in our city and I can guarantee you that there is ALWAYS something going on
Jacksonville has been my home for over 25 years and I still discover new parts of the city I never knew existed. There is a sense of mystery and excitement when you explore Jacksonville and I am always seeking the adventure.
I always encourage visitors to check out the Downtown area first - from museums like The Cummer, MOCA and MOSH, to fun neighborhoods like 5 Points and Murray Hill that house some of the best restaurants in town, it's easily walkable and a great start to explore what Jacksonville really is. On the other side of that, the beaches here are pretty magical. You'll always see a dolphin out in the water.
I am obsessed with Chancho King in Murray Hill. They have the best ceviche and rice bowls in town!
