Bachelorette Weekend Itinerary
Planning to spend the last fling before the ring in Jacksonville? Make it a weekend to remember with relaxing spa days, delicious local cuisine, fantastic drinks and exciting experiences you’ll only find in Jax!
With so much to see and do, this itinerary will guide you through a weekend packed full of some of the best experiences Jacksonville has to offer.
Day One
Afternoon
- If you are planning to fly into Jacksonville, make sure to take advantage of the direct flights into Jacksonville International Airport, including flights from New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte and more.
- Check into One Ocean Resort and Spa and explore around your hotel. Some other hotel options for your Bachelorette weekend include Hotel Palms, The Riverdale Inn, Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront and more.
- Once you are settled in, head to Azurea at One Ocean for lunch. Sip cocktails under the sun and enjoy fine dining on the shimmering waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Azurea boasts a wealth of fresh seafood.
- After lunch, unwind from traveling by soaking up the Florida sun on Jacksonville’s beautiful beaches.
Night
- Walk over to Beaches Town Center and spend Happy Hour at Lemon Bar, a local favorite. This beachfront bar offers amazing waterfront views, great cocktails and good times! Don’t forget to take a group photo in front of the ‘Welcome to Neptune Beach’ mural on the outside of Lemon Bar.
- For dinner, walk over to The Local (the Neptune Beach location). The Local features a wide variety of dishes inspired by the neighborhoods of Northeast Florida. Make sure to try one of their specialty craft cocktails!
- Some nightlife in the area includes Pete’s Bar and Ragtime. You can also take a cruise down A1A to find many additional bars and restaurants with live music and drink specials throughout the beach communities.
Day Two
Morning
- Wake up and get ready for a day exploring the beaches. When it comes to brunch, the world is your oyster in Jacksonville Beach, but we recommend Jax Beach Brunch Haus be on your Bachelorette itinerary. Enjoy classic brunch favorites, flavorful coffee and delicious cocktails. Plus, they offer plenty of vegan options!
- After brunch, head over to Riverside and shop local at the Riverside Arts Market. It's a weekly market hosted on Saturdays, rain or shine, that features a variety of small businesses from farmers to artists to makers, bakers and food trucks.
- Spend some time at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens is the largest fine arts museum in Northeast Florida. The 2.5 acres of historic gardens, set against the backdrop of the St. Johns River, serve as a centerpiece of beauty for all to enjoy. On the first Saturday of every month, admission to the Museum is free.
Afternoon
- For lunch, plan a luxury picnic with 904 Picnic Co. Sip champagne in Memorial Park with rugs, blankets, pillows, décor and more. The 904 Picnic Co does all the work for you and offers a variety of packages that will fit your group's needs!
- If you are looking for an out-of-the-box experience, treat your group to a fun and unique way to party with a Pedal Pub tour.
- Take a stroll through 5 Points, Riverside's funky, trendy arts and commerce district. This area is an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, boutiques and vintage, antiques, collectibles, odds & ends.
Night
- Catch Happy Hour on the rooftop of River and Post. Sip and savor delicious cocktails with unbeatable views of the St. Johns River. Their rooftop offers a limited menu including shareables, wings and flatbreads.
- Take a short drive over to Springfield and eat dinner at The District, a wine bar and beer lounge. The best part? You can eat dinner in their Peacock Garden, which features their popular Geodome and Boho Yurt Lounges. Make sure to try one of their signature champagne cocktails while you are there!
- For some nightlife, head back over to Riverside and check out their bars like Hoptinger and Birdies or dance the night away at Root Down every Friday and Saturday for the Silent Disco nights.
Day Three
Morning
- Wake up and head over to the San Marco area for brunch at Hamburger Mary’s. Enjoy classic brunch dishes like Chicken n’ Waffles, Biscuits n’ Gravy and Shrimp n’ Grits - all served with a side of sass. Don’t forget bottomless mimosas for just $15!
- Take a piece of your bachelorette trip home with you with Wick: A Candle Bar. Create your own custom scent and pour your own natural soy wax candles and customize sprays, oils, reed diffusers and body care products. Spark a memory from your unforgettable trip every time you take a whiff! *Walk-ins are welcome, but groups of four or more are encouraged to make a reservation to ensure they are seated together at the Scent Bar.
Afternoon
- Do some shopping around San Marco Square and make sure to check out Fig and Willow, Lilly Grace Boutique and more.
- Have lunch at Taverna, which specializes in modern interpretations of classic recipes and uses authentic Italian ingredients, seasonal produce, and meats from local purveyors.
- If you are feeling up for a tour, Art Bikes has you covered! Take a guided tour or rent a unique electric art bike, choose your adventure and explore the amazing gallery of public art, architecture, parks and points of interest in and around downtown Jacksonville.
- No bachelorette party is complete without a spa day. Head back to the hotel and get ready to get pampered at The Spa at One Ocean. Pick from a plethora of relaxing massage packages, body treatments and facials.
Night
- After relaxing at the spa, get ready for a sunset cruise on the intracoastal on the St. Johns River Taxi. Enjoy beautiful sunsets on the marsh and see amazing wildlife like egrets, herons and dolphins. They even sell wine and beer on board!
- Once you are back on land, head to Jacksonville Beach for dinner and grab a table at O-Ku. From petite plates to sushi specialties, O-Ku's sushi chefs showcase the freshest fish from the world’s finest markets, as well as local sustainable sources. Make sure to try their signature cocktails as well!
- End the trip with a bang and visit some of Jacksonville Beach’s many watering holes that are all within walking distance from one another. From Irish pubs and pulsing dance clubs, to the swanky Penthouse Lounge at Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant with sweeping views of the ocean, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
- Head back to the hotel for the evening and have a safe trip home!
