A Philip Randolph Heritage Park
This park is named in honor of A. Philip Randolph who grew up in Jacksonville and later became an influential figure in both the Civil Rights Movement and the American labor movement. The park also celebrates the memory of Olympic gold medalist and Dallas Cowboys star Bob Hayes. Hayes, who grew up less than a mile from the park, is memorialized by a life-sized bronze statue.
