In 1993 Karin Tucker and Barbara Bredehoeft opened Biscottis as a cozy 37 seat coffee house. It quickly became a landmark success and now seats 100 in a beautiful turn of the century brick and wood interior building. Offering casual comfort, innovative cuisine (try the fabulous Sunday brunch), and with a personality all its own, the Avondale eatery has expanded to accommodate its citywide clientele. Walk through the door and you’re face-to-face with our dessert case filled with decadent cakes, luscious pies, tempting tarts, and of course “our signature biscotti. Everything is homemade daily by our pastry chef in our very own bakery, the bakery. Biscottis offers a private dining space available for parties or meetings. Enjoy a gourmet meal or just coffee and dessert and we have the best desserts in town! We serve salads, homemade pizzas, pastas and nightly dinner specials. The New York Times Sunday Travel section ranked Biscottis as one of the four best places to eat in Jacksonville.
