Let's support all things local over Labor Day Weekend — from one-of-a-kind shops and independent restaurants to attractions and destinations that contribute to Northeast Florida’s unique quality of life.

904 Day celebrates all local businesses, especially small ones. Did you know that Florida has more than 2.7 million small businesses? That's 99.8% of businesses across the state. As Northeast Florida continues to grow, these independent ventures are critical to success on the First Coast.

Events

  • Start 904 Day by exploring and learning more about a historic Jacksonville neighborhood. Take part in the Urban Hike in Historic Durkeeville from 9-11 am on September 4th. You won't want to miss it!
  • Whether you are staying at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront or not, all are welcome to enjoy their special 904 Day activities and treats. Stop into the lobby to sip on complimentary flavored lemonade during the day and try a Mayport shrimp shooter during the evening hours. They will also have games and interactive experiences in the lobby for everyone to enjoy! Stick around for their lunch and dinner specials on 904 Day featuring Mayport shrimp. While you're there, make sure to check in on the Mayport Shrimp Trail on the Visit Jax app.
  • Downtown First Wednesday Art Walk falls on 904 Day this year and it's going to be an extra special edition! On Wednesday, September 4 from 5-9 pm come to James Weldon Johnson Park in Downtown Jacksonville and experience an elevated level of Art Walk.
  • Jax Chamber Evening Market will also be taking place on September 4 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Make your way toward Bay Street after finishing up at James Weldon Johnson Park and find more vendors to support at the Jax Chamber Market.
  • Go axe-throwing at Stumpy's Hatchet House in Springfield from 5-10 pm! They are offering one hour of axe-throwing for $9.04 per person. It's an AXEciting one-day-only deal! Reservation in advance is required.
  • 904 Day Silent Disco on Navy Pier is taking place on the USS Orleck in Downtown Jacksonville. Don't miss silent disco from 6-9 pm and riverfront fireworks starting at 9:04 pm!
