Visit Jacksonville was the first Destination Marketing Organization in the State of Florida to achieve the IBCCES Autism Certification for our staff. This certification educated our team on the best ways to welcome and assist visitors with autism and welcome their families to our city.

Ritz Theatre and Museum
The Ritz Theatre and Museum was constructed in 1999 on the site of the 1929 Ritz Theater movie house in Jacksonville’s historic African American community of La Villa. During La Villa’s height of activity in the 1920s-1960s, it was known as the “Harlem of the South.” The mission of the Ritz Theatre and Museum is to “research, record, and preserve the material and artistic culture of African American life in Northeast Florida and the African Diaspora, and present in an educational or entertaining format, the many facets that make up the historical and cultural legacy of this community.”
Jessie Ball DuPont Center
The Jessie Ball duPont Center brings together the community and its nonprofits in a setting that appreciates our rich history while responding to the demands of today. Housed in one of Jacksonville's architectural jewels at the former Haydon Burns Library. The Jessie Ball duPont Center provides offices for nonprofits and work and gathering spaces for the community in an energy-efficient environment with state-of-the-art technology.
