All over Jacksonville, you’ll find dozens of murals representing diverse scenes by emerging and established local and international artists. The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville created an Art in Public Places Program, which oversees the selection, installation, maintenance and conservation of the public art around Jacksonville. ArtRepublic, an innovative visual arts festival, has also brought some of the top muralists in the world to Downtown Jacksonville to use our walls as canvases. Local historic neighborhoods like Brooklyn, Springfield, Riverside and Jacksonville Beach also have walls decorated by beautiful murals. Check out the public art scene in Jacksonville. Go Tuk'n collaborated with ArtRepublic to offer the only Certified Public Art Tour dedicated to showcasing the artist and inspiration behind every piece.

Project Atrium, located in the atrium of the Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville, showcases a new site-sensitive installation created by different artists each month. This unique installation is on display in the Jacksonville Public Library. This movement was started by two local artists in 2010 as a way to get the public excited and motivated to create their own art work. The artists sent out 5" wood pieces to anyone willing to embellish them with art of their choice; 910 people in the community participated in the local movement. You can check out all of the individually created art blocks, and many other unique art exhibits at the Jacksonville Public Library in Downtown Jacksonville.
